There are many ways to earn money passively in affiliate marketing. We all know about the RevShare payout model, marked by its recurring affiliate commissions. But RevShare is not the only way, as there are referral programs, enabling you to earn money for sharing a link with your friends, subscribers, or other people.
A.W. Empire offers two referral programs: you can either refer another affiliate or a model (agency). Depending on how much they earn and some other factors, you can earn up to 36% extra income per month — a great way to turn your influence into money.
Combine referral income with your regular work and RevShare commissions to enjoy a hefty paycheck. And for the referral payouts to be certain, let’s go through the conditions of our referral programs and other important details.
Webmaster referral
A.W. Empire is an affiliate program, and so we encourage new affiliates on our platform. However, we always appreciate some assistance from the experts in marketing, so we are ready to reward you for spreading the word about ourselves. Depending on the payout period and your commission tier, you can earn up to 36% of extra income, paid out of our own funds.
The whole referral commission model spans for a year, with payouts as frequent as twice a month. Thus, our affiliates have 24 paydays in total before the referral deal expires. Every two months (four periods), the commission rate drops by a certain amount, e.g., from 12% to 6%, no matter whether it’s the first tier or the second:
- The first-tier commission is when you refer another affiliate to our program.
- The second-tier commission is when your referred affiliate refers somebody else. In that case, you’re entitled to earn half the rate of the first tier, e.g., 12% instead of 24%.
But what if your referred affiliate opts for Pay Per Sale (PPS) instead of RevShare? In that case, we charge a fixed $40 and calculate your commission, based on that value and your current payout period.
All the affiliates referred must be newcomers. Please be aware that you can’t refer affiliates with existing accounts. You also may not refer yourself, as this is an artificial alteration of your percentages and a violation of our terms and conditions. We have sophisticated algorithms and regular manual checks in place to prevent cheating, fraudulent activity, and other forms of deception. Model referral
Besides good marketers, we need talented content makers; we need models, including model agencies. Our roster of models is a bit skewed, which is why your commission for a model referred will depend on their nationality. We suggest attracting models from underrepresented GEOs to earn more, up to 10%.
The commissions from referring last a year but don’t deteriorate over time. Keep in mind that all the models referred must either be new to our system or have no earnings on their account for the past 6 months. If you refer a studio, your earnings will begin from its referral date, not the registration date of the models there.

How to refer a person
Referring at A.W. Empire is a straightforward process, which involves 4 simple steps. Once you find an eligible model and/or webmaster, do the following:
- Log in to your AWEmpire.com account
- Click the Promo Tools tab:
– For the Site for Referral, select AWEmpire.com
– For models, select Model center - Choose the type of Promo Tool that you would like to use
To monitor your referral income, use the Miscellaneous Earnings tab under Statistics. If the affiliate you want to refer is ready to start, we recommend using the Link Code to the sign-up page when selecting the Promo Tool.
